Thank you for visiting the website of Spirit Filled Community Church. We are a family of Christian believers based in Las Pinas, Metro Manila. We are an evangelical and confessionally Reformed congregation that seeks to proclaim and live out the saving grace of God in Christ.
We are evangelical.
We believe in Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord. We believe that the bible is the inerrant, sufficient, infallible, and inspired Word of God. We believe in the basic tenets of evangelical Christianity as expressed in the Apostle's Creed, the Nicean Creed, the Athanasian Creed and the Chalcedonian Definition .
We are reformed.
We subscribe to the biblical doctrines that were emphasized by the Reformers such as John Calvin and Martin Luther. We believe classical Reformed theology is the best expression of the sovereignty of God in all things including our salvation, of the Holy Trinity and how this archetype of covenantal relationship orders all our relationships, of the efficacy and power of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and so on.
We are confessional
We believe that the reformed faith is a historic faith, expressing its doctrinal clarity through the various creeds and reformed confessions. We express unity with the historical reformed faith by subscribing to the Westminster Standards. We insist that the Bible alone is our only infallible rule, or source, for faith and life. The confession, however, establishes what we understand and believe to be what the bible says.
